Pool Rules
- The large hot tub is for the use of adults 18 and over.
- You must be 48" tall or able to pass a "swim test" administered by our lifeguards to ride on the large water slide.
- Pool closes periodically for cleaning and maintenance.
- State law requires that the pool be vacated every 3 hours for a 15-minute period to test chemical levels.
- Wristbands are required for water park access. Wristbands are issued daily and are valid until 11:00 am the following day.
- Only one wristband will be issued per person, per day. Please keep your wristband on if you plan to return to the water park within the same day. A new wristband will not be reissued.
- Altered wristbands will not be accepted or replaced.
- No running in pool or deck area.
- No pushing, dunking, excessive splashing, shoulder riding or other inappropriate behavior allowed in the facility.
- An adult must accompany children under 12 years of age at all times.
- Proper swim attire required in pools; cut offs, gym shorts, tee shirts, thong bathing suits and transparent colored suits are not allowed.
- Please do not enter the pool if you have a communicable disease or open cut.
- Bandages must be removed before entering the water.
- Use of gum and tobacco products are prohibited within the water park.
- Food and beverages may not be brought from outside.
- Health department suggests that you allow at least one hour between eating and swimming. Please allow an hour after eating before you allow your children into the pool.
- Absolutely no food or drinks will be allowed in the pool or pool areas.
- Please use the shower before entering the pool and after using the toilet facilities.
- Children under the age of 3 must wear a swim diaper and rubber pants. (Approved swim diapers may be purchased in the hotel gift shop.)
- The use of non-coast guard approved inflatable personal floatation devices is prohibited; coast guard approved floatation devices are available in the water park.
- No diving allowed.
- Inflatable items, squirt guns, balls and snorkels are prohibited.
- No hanging on ropes, nets or walls allowed.
- Spitting or spouting water from the mouth and blowing of nose in pool is prohibited.
- No glass allowed in the facility.
- Lifeguards are in charge at all times and adults in attendance may be requested to assist the lifeguards.
- Lifeguards have final authority on all safety issues.
- Monitoring your child/children remains your responsibility even if a lifeguard is present.
- Failure to follow water park rules will result in dismissal from the facility.
- Only tennis shoes and soft-soled sandals are permitted on the pool deck.
- We suggest you remove any loose jewelry (watches, bracelets, necklaces or dangling earrings) before using the water park. The Holiday Inn Express is not responsible for any lost or stolen property.
- Persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol should not use the pool.
- Please notify lifeguard staff of any preexisting medical conditions.
- "State law requires riders to obey all warning and directions for carnival or amusement rides and behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injury of themselves or others. Riders must report injuries prior to leaving the premises."
- So that everyone may have an enjoyable stay, we have listed below our "Standards of Conduct."
- Check-in time is 4:00 pm; checkout time is 11:00 am.
- Guest must be 18 or older to rent a hotel room.
- Alcoholic beverages may not be consumed in the public areas of the property.
- Private parties in individual hotel rooms are not allowed.
- Please be considerate to other guests and keep noise levels to
- a minimum in the public areas of the hotel.
- Hotel room rates allow for a maximum or 4 guests per room. 5th person charge is $25.00 and includes water park admission. No visitors are allowed into the water park.
- An adult must accompany any children under the age of 12 in order to utilize the water park.
- You must be 18 or older to utilize the fitness center.
- The water park and fitness center hours are posted and must be observed.
- Please do not take room towels to the water park; towels are provided for you.
- No sporting equipment (i.e. hockey sticks, mini hockey sticks, basketballs, etc.) is permitted in public areas of the hotel.
- A curfew for anyone under 18 will be enforced at 11:00 pm. We ask that all individuals return to their rooms.
